Accidental Artist

I'm working as an artist now purely by accident of the serendipitous variety. Painting chairs began as a way to bring color to our log home. Everyone who has seen them either commissions a chair or encourages me to sell them, so here I am. I've always been driven to create functional items. Currently, I'm painting furniture, using pyrography and stain to decorate gourds and make signs. The exception to functional are the funky little critter pins I'm making from scraps of gourds - they are just for giggles. Kristi Hamilton lives and works in Boulder Canyon, in the Northern Black Hills.
