I've loved drawing living creatures as long as I can remember. Drawing my horse was almost as much fun as riding him when I was a girl. Trying to make things as life-like as possible was a happy challenge for me then and still is. There is no greater joy for me than to see an overwhelmed customer, struggling with emotions brought to the surface by viewing the portrait I've done for them. I feel blessed to be able to evoke such depth of feeling.
Originally from southwestern Minnesota, my family and I moved to Sioux Falls in 2001.
