Joel Strasser has been a photographer for 50 plus years. Educated at Augustana Academy and College in Canton and Sioux Falls SD, Progressive School of Photography, New Haven CT, and photo reconnaissance in the USAF; Joel is a Master of
Photography and Photographic
Craftsman. He was invited into membership(limited to 40
members) in the prestigious
Camera Craftsmen of America.
As a professional he judged and appeared on programs in most states and regional photo conventions including the US and Canadian Nationals. He gained national recognition for his architectural and advertising photography.
In the last 30 years his photographic art has caught the eye of collectors of fine photography. This led to producing quality coffee table type books featuring his photography of rural life and South Dakota.
