520 Prairie Gallery
Greetings:
My life began in Belfast Northern Ireland and I came to the U.S in 1974. My work is motivated by many things ranging from art history to the things I see around me. Lately, I have been working on a series of cinematic compositions that depict low horizons associated with views of the South Dakota prairie. In Lake county we have Lake Herman State Park, which reminds me of both countryside in Ireland and England. I see the wind turbines and wires as icons of our man-made world inscribed on the openess of the land, and find it an interesting visual story.
