We own the family farm that Gene grew up on. We have traditionally raised wheat, corn, beans and cattle. After hearing of the many wonders of flax, we started to grow and package it. The flax is cleaned for human consumption.
According to research, the health benefits of flax includes: lowering cholesterol and blood pressure, deters diabetes, helps prevent cancer, natural laxative, and reduces symptoms of menopause. Recommended dosage is 2-3 tablespoons, ground, daily. One pound of flax is approximately a one month supply. Whole flax should be ground as it has a hard outer crust which inhibits digestion. We have just added convenient mixes to our line of products. They include Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, Sugar Cookie Mix, Chewy Granola Bar Mix, and Buttermilk Pancake Mix.
