Phil Baker provides children's entertainment through live performances and recorded music. His music videos are shown daily on South Dakota Public Broadcasting. Phil has used music to enrich the lives of young people for more than 20 years. He has played guitar, sung, written, directed, produced, and performed shows for children throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
Born in Framingham, Mass., and currently resides with his family in Sioux Falls, S.D. Phil has earned many grants, nominations, and awards for his public service, and in 1987 was selected South Dakota's Man of the Year and one of the top 12 U.S. Young Men of America. He has been a touring artist for the South Dakota Arts Council touring program since 1987, and a national presenter for CHARACTER COUNTS! based in Los Angeles, CA, since 2001.
