Why do I need a survival kit?
Whether you hunt, fish, hike, ski, snowshoe, ride ATV's, trail ride or spend any amount of time in the great outdoors, you are well aware that things can go seriously wrong at a moments notice. Your chances of survival will depend on your skills and the resources available to you. You can stack the deck in your favor by having these essential items to help keep you alive. Your skills, imagination, and the items in this kit can better your chances of survival and rescue.
This kit has been painstakingly assembled with a well thought out supply of equipment to provide you with the means to survive. Though it is by no means a guarantee that you will survive, your skills and ingenuity combined with the items in this kit may greatly increase your chances of survival/rescue. Many of the items in this kit are the same items used by NATO forces or found in US Air Force survival kits.
Included are three means of getting a fire started; a flint & steel, waterproof matches, and a Fresnel magnifying lens. Waterproof tinder is also included should dry tinder not be available.
A wire saw, space blanket, parachute cord, and snare wire can be useful in constructing a shelter from the elements.
The powerful LED light with 3 brightness levels, 3 strobe functions and an SOS function will last up to 12 hrs. on full brightness.
The fishing kit has been carefully selected by a professional fishing guide and the snare wire is included to provide you with the opportunity to catch something to eat.
The tin itself can be used to cook your catch, boil water, or can be used as a signal mirror.
Water purification tablets allow you treat water for safe drinking.
