Dakota Harvest Farm is a 160 acre family farm located in southeast South Dakota located near the banks of the Missouri River. Dorper hair sheep graze the pastures on Dakota Harvest Farm. The purpose of the Dorper breed is to produce prime tender lamb meat with a quality taste. Hair sheep have no wool, they shed naturally which means no stress of shearing. Dorpers are natural grazers which aids in the practice of intensive grazing management used on the farm. The first year of transitioning to organics has been completed.
