Silks With Attitude!

Quite simply, I paint on silk with dyes and I mix colors. Creating all my colors from red, yellow and blue dyes are an intuitive challenge that feeds my soul! Juxtaposing colors to dance across the silk to evoke emotion and delight for the eye is my passion. My most recent work is a series of silk organza garments - I have mixed the colors, dyed the yardage, designed the garment & dusted off my couture sewing skills to create a truly one of a kind piece of ArtWear. The viewer or patron will see my work is a bold statement about beauty, luxury and individuality. My work fulfills a desire for beauty and individuality yet also protects the body - all while indulging the wearer in the ultimate in tactile experiences. "SILKS WITH ATTITUDE!" I attended school at South Dakota State University and received a B.S. in Apparel Design, Textiles & Clothing Marketing.
