Located in Eureka, South Dakota in front of the Eureka Lake. Eureka is a small, rural town of about 1200 people, mostly of German-Russian descent. It is a town proud of its heritage, its people and its delicious food!
The Eureka Kuchen Factory is the best kitchen in the state featuring many unique Kuchens and other German specialities!
The bakery specializes in KUCHEN, but they make German dough specialties like cheese buttons and strudels which are only available in house. The kitchen can mail kuchens, plachendas, kraut strudels, pfepperneuse and chocolate chip cookies, caramel candies, and homemade noodles.
KUCHENS are 10" in diameter which is enough to have 12 slices for any festive dinner.
The factory also makes personal-sized kuchens, the "K-FOR-ONE", sold in baker's dozen, available in all flavors as the large kuchens.
Store hours in the town of Eureka are 9AM to 5PM. Store owners are Maria Luz Alandy and Hulda Opp.
