This bird with star hand hooked rug is ultra prim and a superb addition for the 21st century folk art collector! Always original pieces designed and created by myself, the artist! I consider my style very outsider, primitive, whimsical and folk art for sure! I've been hooking rugs for approximately 4 years. I use a professional wool cutter and use only 100% wool. I dye my own colors and create each pattern myself. This rug measures 20" w X 17" t and is finished off with rug binding tape on the reverse. Hooked on premium classic burlap. Comes signed, dated, copyrighted and titled on the reverse. I'm so interested in a wide variety of arts and crafts. I love to paint, hook rugs, work with fabric of any kind and ALWAYS design my own pieces. My work is SO varied has been collected throughout the US and Europe since 1998!
