Description:

#705 Tall Cedar Vessel with inlay, body of the vase is turned just into the white sap wood tapering on both ends to expose the that beautiful red coloring of the cedar. Include inlay of brass filings, lapis, red heart wood shavings, turquoise, and malachite. My tallest piece to date at 22 inches top to bottom and cut to 17 inches deep. In the middle of the vase there are two knots that I was able to turn through from the inside leaving small voids for a view to the inside. Lacquer finished exterior no finish on the interior. Heavy base for stability, elegance or rustic I think it fits anywhere!
