The sculpture is done in the style of Amimalier Realism. The model is 1/5 life scale measuring 17" H x 27"L x 20"W. PRICE: $8500

Peggy created his bronze model edition to create her monumental assembly also entitled "The Best Defense....." which is a museum quality lost wax cast bronze grouping of 3 figures (Bison Bull, Bison Calf, and a Buffalo Wolf) at 118% life scale. This model is a very limited edition of only 12 with one artist proof. Once those 13 have all been cast, the mold is broken to ensure collector value!

A large dark phase buffalo wolf, is seen going after the bison calf who strayed too far from its mother. The wolf is thwarted by a bison bull who charges at the wolf.

The piece will be shipped once the buyer has chosen the stone or wood base that he/she would prefer to match his/her decor. It takes 2 weeks to receive the custom ordered base, which of course is included in the price. The numerous natural stone or wood base choices can be emailed to any prospective bidder. The piece is also then finished with a custom cut rich black felt which covers the entire bottom of the stone or wood base to protect fine furnishings. A brass title plate which is fixed onto the base completes this fine collectable.
