Description:

This knife has a 2 «" black bear tooth handle and a Damascus blade hand forged using 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steel. We use no mild steel, in the making of the Damascus steel. After forging all blades are triple normalized and annealed to relieve forging stress. All blades are surface ground to precise thickness then the bevels are hand ground or CNC ground. All blades are then heat treated in state of the art salt baths. Blades are mar-tempered for a 20% increase in toughness and superior edge holding. This knife is a custom knife 5" in overall length that includes a 2 1/4" Damascus blade. Both the knife and the sheath were hand created by the artist. The sheath is entirely made of leather like techniques used hundreds of years ago (no metal fasteners).
