McCrory Gardens in Brookings, SD is one of my favorite places for an afternoon stroll. The cottage that was once a gas station is my favorite destination.

This original counted cross stitch design was created after an autumn stroll through the gardens. The sun was setting behind the cottage and the fall foliage was shining brilliantly in the background.

This is the first of the South Dakota Design Series, original counted cross stitch patterns.
